Import declaration for end-use

When declaring imported goods using the end-use procedure you must lodge an import declaration.

Declare according to the general rules, i.e. description of goods, commodity code, customs value, procedure cods etc.

Support when lodging an import declaration for end-use

When lodging an import declaration for end-use there are some things you need to consider. Each declaration looks a bit different depending on the type of imported goods.

Codes for the import declaration and information about where to enter them can be found below. This differs depending on whether you have switched to declaring under the new legislation or whether you are still declaring under the old legislation.

How to declare

Codes N990 or C990 should always be entered for end use, irrespective of whether the application is submitted directly in the declaration or authorisation has been given in advance.
