Airports
The following list indicates international Union airports designated by Swedish Customs for presentation notification.
If your aircraft is carrying non-Union goods, Swedish Customs will only authorise the unloading of these goods if there is an ‘approved location ’ within the designated location (the international Union airport) where the goods are to be stored.
Conditions
The customs formalities to be completed at the designated international Union airport depend on the circumstances of the individual aircraft.
Find the conditions in the relevant section below.
Note: Swedish Customs is developing a digital declaration system for temporary storage where data filing will only be possible from 1 October 2024. The conditions described for unloading authorisation (Article 140 of the Customs Code) and removal of goods (139(7) of the Customs Code) under the headings below will become a requirement from 1 January 2025.
