Explosive goods
It may be illegal to bring explosive goods into Sweden unless you have a permit from the Swedish Civil Defence and Resilience Agency.
Examples of explosive include:
- bangers
- hand grenades
- dynamite
- fireworks
Fireworks and other Pyrotechnic goods
You must be 18 years old to bring fireworks to Sweden. It is never allowed to bring in fireworks with a control rod without a permit. If you are buying from a non-EEA country, you will always need a licence to import pyrotechnic articles. You can bring in certain types of fireworks from another EEA country without an authorisation.
