Ports and other departure points
The following list indicates the port terminals which are approved places of exit of goods and which have given their consent to publication.
A port terminal needs to apply for an authorised exit location. After approval of the application, the port terminal receives a location code. The location code is indicated in message IE507 (Arrival at exit) in the new export system under data element 16 15 000 000 – Location of goods.

Terms and conditions
The customs formalities to be completed depend on the circumstances of the individual vessel.
Please read the terms and conditions under each heading below.
Vessels without goods on board
The vessel's departure must be notified to Swedish Customs in advance (Chapter 10, Sections 1 and 2 of the Customs Code) and depart from a port designated or approved by Swedish Customs (Chapter 10, Sections 8 and 17 of the Customs Code). The designated port is the same as the port of call indicated in the MSW.
The designated ports of exit are the same as for entry.
Vessels carrying goods for export
The vessel's departure must be notified to Swedish Customs in advance (Chapter 10, Sections 1 and 2 of the Customs Code) and depart from a port designated or approved by Swedish Customs (Chapter 10, Sections 8 and 17 of the Customs Code). The designated port is the same as the port of call indicated in the MSW.

The goods must be brought to a port terminal that is an approved place of exit (Article 267(1) of the Customs Code).
The goods must be presented to the customs office of exit upon exit (Article 331 of the Implementing Regulation).
Vessels carrying goods in transit
If the goods are in transit, the rules for the transit procedure apply.
