Inspections
What happens when Swedish Customs conducts a physical inspection of the cargo?
Swedish Customs will engage in a dialogue with affected economic operators with regard to the procedures for physical inspections.
Transit
When should a transit procedure be used?
Transit procedures should be used in the following cases:
- Goods arriving from countries other than Norway
- The customs declaration cannot be pre-lodged
- When necessitated by the chosen customs procedure.
Date/schedule
When will the transition go live?
The new requirements are implemented on 1 October, 2024. Until then, the current procedures should be used when filing data.
