EDI – Company Test Environment

Before you can begin to test you must

• Apply for registration for communication via EDI (TVEDI)
• Register a contact person authorized to administer signature certificates and order a signature certificate

If your company already has a TVEDI decision and want to perform tests for new messages with the same system contact the EDI test function.

• The test indicator (1) must be activated when using the test environment otherwise the messages are sent in the production flow.
• Do not send big files, batches or make volume tests in the test environment.
• The technical specifications always apply in case of any discrepancies in the test cases and sample files.

Our aim is that the company test environment mirrors the production environment as much as possible, but there are some exceptions. You cannot test

• Quota management
• License management
• Guarantees

Depending on which messages and procedures you want to test, there can be requirements for other authorisations and registrations. Normally, your company can use your own authorisations when performing tests. Further information about the test conditions for each message is stated in the test cases and final tests.

If your company does not have the necessary test data the EDI test function can allocate fictional information.

Subscription messages

It is not normally required to register supplementary test data for subscription messages but these can be allocated upon request.
