EORI, Swedish Customs index of operators and the European Commission EORI database

Our Swedish national index of operators will still be accessible on our website. It provides information on operators holding one or more authorisation issued by Swedish Customs and a few other Swedish authorities, and of operators certified in the Stairway.

Furthermore, it includes a link to the EU common AEO database, where you can find information on operators holding AEO certificates. In the national index you cannot use the EORI number as a search criterion. Neither can you find the EORI number for operators who do not hold any authorisation from Swedish Customs.

In addition, the European Commission has introduced a public interface to their EORI database, where you can search for EORI numbers issued in all Member States.

The following information will be provided:

Operator with a valid EORI number who has agreed to the publication

This EORI-nummer is valid.
Name and address of the operator is shown.

Operator with a valid EORI number who has not agreed to the publication

This EORI-nummer is valid.
Name and address of the operator is not shown.

Operator without a valid EORI number

This EORI-nummer is not valid.

On the application form, you choose whether to agree to the publication or not. If you do not agree to the publication, this will apply both to our national index of operators and to the Commission database. We cannot exclude your details from being shown in only one of the indexes.
