Buying goods from another EU country

Goods bought within the EU do not need to be presented to us. However, certain goods are subject to special regulations for environmental protection and public health and security. Examples of such goods are arms, medications, and animals.
Some commercial transactions require permission from other government bodies. You may need to contact the Swedish Tax Agency regarding VAT accounting. Under certain circumstances it may also be necessary to report your purchases to Statistics Sweden, SCB.
