AEO, application for AEO certificate

Before you submit your application for AEO certificate you should have quality assured your goods flows and your procedures according to the Guidelines for certification. The procedures shall be well documented either electronically or on paper, well known within the organisation, available to all users and regularly updated.

Our model for quality assurance is based on a procedure where you quality assess your own flows of goods and information. After that, we certify your company by auditing your documentation and some specific points for review. If you are well prepared, Customs will have a better material to base the work on when it is your turn for certification audit. The application should be submitted together with a supplementary annex.

Simplifications

Please take your time to study the benefits and simplifications you can apply for as an AEO. If you are interested in any of the simplifications, we advice you to work through the pre-requisites for that simplification before you submit your application for AEO certificate. In that way, we can already start to look at the simplifications during the certification audit.
